The performance of my TB6560 CNC controller board was a bit disappointing. Many internet sources show up how to improve it. I decided to follow the advice of this forum, because I got one of the new boards which seem to be a bit different from the old TB6560 boards from china.
Just removing R55, R60, R61 and replacing the capacitors C25, C26, C27 with 270pF made me able to drive my steppers much faster. Before, I lost steps at about 100'000 steps per second. Now I'm able to deliver approximately 250'000! I may have to change it for the finished machine because I'm not sure how much torque my machine needs. The steppers are still making some noise and the optocouplers may won't protect my computer, but I'm quite happy with the result of this simple modification.
